Unlike later promo styles, this early Columbia issue uses the standard red 6-eye labels with a factory-printed “DEMONSTRATION RECORD – NOT FOR SALE” overlay. This is the correct promo configuration for Bob Dylan — Columbia did not issue this title with white labels. The jacket is the early heavy cardboard MONO paste-on cover , and the back slick bears the authentic pink “DEMONSTRATION – NOT FOR SALE” rubber stamp typical for 1962 promo distribution. The vinyl contains the earliest mastering sequences: XLP-55619-1A (Side 1) XLP-55620-1A (Side 2) Both sides carry a “D” stamper/plant mark, consistent with early Columbia mastering and pressing. 💎 CONDITION VINYL: excellent to near mint (EX to NM) COVER: very good plus (VG+) (aging, rubbing, lower edge wear, spotting, paper loss on back; promo stamp strong and readable) 🧾 NOTES FOR COLLECTORS Authentic 6-Eye red label promo , NOT a white label.
