This thing worked very well. I put the hats in it one at a time. I washed them on gentle cycle. I dried them in the form fixture in the sun. One was a Richard Petty autographed hat that my deceased father-in-law owned and it had gotten very dirty over the years since he passed away. It means a lot to my wife, even though we are neither great race fans. I was certainly pleasantly surprised!
