Fabulous Vintage solid 925 Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) Ladies very attractive chunky barley twist bangle / bracelet with concealed clasp and hinge. C~1989. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" / 18cm internal circumference, 8mm width, 5mm depth and weighs a very respectable 17.4 grams. Highly attractive puffy barley twist design all around (and inside) which reflects the light beautifully. Good firm secure catch which opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click (easy to operate) which is fully hallmarked to the tongue (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the silver purity; 925, Leopards head (London assay) and fancy capital letter; P - dating her to 1989. Also clearly stamped with the makers initials; CLE. Unusual concealed hinge to the opposite side which is true and firm with absolutely no play. Still retains the original silver safety chain for added piece of mind. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear or indentations (looks to have had very little use) and just a few overall extremely light and fine little (micro) surface scratches showing under eyeglass only commensurate with age.
