Only been used a couple times -- did some practice and made one summit. They have only been on snow, so there is no dirt or mud residue. They are still in great shape with a lot of life left, I would hold onto them but I have some other adventures that I'd rather have the cash for. These are great shoes if you are trying to get into ice climbing/ mountaineering. They have removable socks and lacing/ velcro to make it super sturdy. The boot is completely waterproof and provides lots of heat retention.
