Antique German 6” Closed Mouth Bisque Doll 520/3½ w/ Prize Ribbon Pink Dress 🎀. Antique German 6” Closed Mouth Bisque Doll 520/3½ w/ Prize Ribbon. “Antique German Bisque Girl Doll – Closed Mouth – 6” – pink – 520 / 3½ – hand-painted eyes”. Her pink lace dress appears to be a later-made outfit, but it displays beautifully and suits her well. Antique German 6” Closed Mouth Bisque Doll 520/3½ w/ Prize Ribbon Description: Lovely antique German bisque closed-mouth girl doll measuring approximately 6 inches tall, with beautifully hand-painted blue eyes, softly blushed cheeks, and a sweet expression. The original competition tag identifies her as mold 520 / 3½, and she retains wonderful presentation in her charming pink display outfit. A special bonus with this doll is her original Third Place ribbon from the Central Penn Doll Collectors, awarded in July 2002, along with the handwritten identification card. The card reads: “Antique German Bisque Girl Doll – Closed Mouth – 6” – pink – 520 / 3½ – hand-painted eyes” She has a lovely blonde wig and wears undergarments that appear to be original to the doll. Her pink lace dress appears to be a later-made outfit, but it displays beautifully and suits her well. She also carries an adorable miniature handbag. Condition notes: * I have inspected her carefully and do not see damage to the bisque * There is some roughness around one arm socket area and there may be a very small chip there, although I am not certain * I do not believe the upper thighs have chips, which can often be an issue on dolls of this type * Undergarments appear original * Pink dress appears to be a later addition * The tiny handbag has been taped to her arm, which creates the shine visible in photos * Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description A very charming cabinet-sized antique with lovely presentation, and the award ribbon and handwritten identification tag add a fun bit of collectible history.
