It features a brown-haired girl doll made of bisque plus mache for the body. She is 21 inches in length. This unique doll from France during the time period of around the 1920s to 1930s. She is part of the Walking Kiss Throwing series, adding to its charm and character. Her bisque is free of cracks, repairs or damages. She has an old pate plus a nice brown antique mohair wig. She is one of the later French dolls. She presents well as you can see from the dressed pictures and her body is structurally sound but seriously needs sanding and repainting. Someone tried before I got her and I just don’t have the time or energy to strip and repaint it properly. I am sure she is fine the way she is but would be a great project for a doll restorer. Look at the pictures carefully as she is as is because of the condition of the paint on the body. She may have had a voice box at one time but she will not talk and the string that makes her throw a kiss does not appear to be connected. There is a dark hairnet over her head in some of the pictures to hold her wig on. She has beautiful sleep eyes with the original lashes in great condition. There is a leather strip over where her torso was apart to insert the voice box. I will ship her by the cheapest but safe way. I pack well. I do re use boxes to keep the cost down. I usually ship by USPS ground but if you want it to ship another way please let me know. I always refund any overpayment on shipping. She will not bend with her straight legs so she will have to go in a longer box then usual.
