Antique 4.5” All Bisque Mignonette Doll Swivel Head Glass Eyes Original Wig. A charming antique all-bisque mignonette with a particularly sweet face and wonderful display appeal. Perfect for a doll cabinet, dollhouse collection, or antique bisque doll collection. The doll has wonderful cabinet presence and displays beautifully. Antique 4.5” All Bisque Mignonette Doll Swivel Head Glass Eyes Original Wig A delightful antique all-bisque mignonette doll measuring approximately 4.5 inches tall. This charming miniature features a swivel head, dark glass eyes, finely painted lashes and brows, softly blushed cheeks, and an appealing closed mouth expression. She retains her blonde wig and is dressed in a lovely pink knit dress with matching bonnet, undergarments, painted stockings, and molded heeled shoes. The doll has wonderful cabinet presence and displays beautifully. Her petite size and sweet expression make her an especially attractive example for collectors of mignonettes, dollhouse dolls, and antique bisque dolls. The bisque appears to be in very good condition from all visible inspection. I do not observe any chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs to the head, body, arms, or legs, though the doll has not been disassembled and the interior surfaces have not been examined. The swivel head functions properly, and the painted features remain crisp and attractive. There are minor age-related marks and light wear consistent with an antique doll of this age. She is being offered wearing the pink knit dress, bonnet, and undergarments shown in the photographs. The clothing presents nicely and complements the doll beautifully.
