This is an authentic antique etching from the legendary Vedute di Roma series by Giovanni Battista Piranesi . This specific image — titled: “Altra Veduta del Tempio della Sibilla in Tivoli” ( “Another View of the Temple of the Sibyl in Tivoli” ) — corresponds to Plate 56 in the series and is recorded as Hind No. 62 in Arthur M. Hind’s authoritative 1922 catalogue. While the plate was created in 1761 , this impression was printed posthumously by Piranesi’s son, Francesco Piranesi , likely in Paris between 1780–1805 , using the original copperplate.
