About this item: These are new and sealed booster packs for Nintendo Japanese Animal Crossing e-reader cards. They are all over 20 years old. These cards were released from 2002-2003 in several series over two waves/release schedules. A precursor to Amiibo cards many years before their release. In 2002, "Doubutsu no Mori+ Card e" released 4 series of cards. While the earlier sets sold better, particularly Series 2 which is easy to find, the later sets did not, due to advertising/commercials not being made for Series 3 and 4. This had made later sets difficult to obtain. Series 1 released on February 14, 2002, and is uncommon. Series 2 released on April 21, 2002, and is common and fairly easy to find and collect. Series 3 released on June 21, 2002, and is rare, particularly the booster packs. Series 4 was released on October 18, 2002, and is very rare/difficult to obtain, especially in booster pack form. A second release Schedule named "Doubutsu no Mori Card e+" was released in 2003, with 3 sets. Series 1 is not so easy to find in booster pack form. Series 2 is fairly easy to find. Series 3 is hard to find. The booster packs make a nice part of a card collection, especially considering the difficulty in finding some of them these days.
