ANTIQUE GERMAN 8 DAY 4-JEWEL CARRIAGE CLOCK BY W &A SCHMID-SCHLENKER, W/Key. A German clock with key for winding. The case is gold brass with a gilt finish. Key winds to the left. A very heavy gold gilt case for a clock of it's size. This clock is being sold “AS IS”. Mechanical movement with Arabic numerals. The case is gold brass with a gilt finish. Key winds to the left. Dates back to the 1930s and a very rare timepiece it is 7" tall by 3" wide I originally had this running for a few weeks. Time passes and I forgot about it. It doesn't seem to run at the moment but a little TLC of the movement should solve that. Gorgeous piece A very heavy gold gilt case for a clock of it's size NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! Unfortunately, there are buyers who will over-wind the movement, wind/turn the keys backward, fail to balance the clock, vigorously shake the clock, twist the innards and rods, improperly hang the pendulum and break the suspension or just as bad move the clock around with the pendulum attached. Then after it is all busted up, they want to return it and ask for their money back. This clock is being sold “AS IS”. Assume it will need and require repairs and service at some point in the future
