ANTIQUE CHINESE MONOCHROME BLUE GLAZED COVERED PORCELAIN GINGER JAR, #1 Available for your consideration is this stunning large antique Chinese Monochrome Covered Ginger Jar. Jar #1 of 2. This wonderful porcelain ginger jar is covered in a rich monochrome blue glaze. It has unglazed rims and footings and date from the 19th Century. Marked with two concentric circles on the bottom. Photos will describe the jar better than I can. It measures approx. 12 1/2" tall and 8 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 8 pounds. Is in good condition with no chips or repairs. Interior shows lines in body and lid as shown in the photos. The pictures are an important part of this listing. Please use them as a condition aid.
