The piston ring has an open design for easy installation and easier fitting into the cylinder. The piston ring has good elasticity and wear resistance to withstand high temperature and high pressure conditions. The piston ring needs to maintain a pressure seal during normal operation to prevent compressed gas leakage. The piston ring also needs to provide proper lubrication on the piston to reduce wear. I have not applied power yet, but the package arrived well padded, was delivered a day before original expectation, and was truly brand new, in original factory sealed packaging, exactly as described.
