Mineral: Fluorite with Hyalite Opal and Muscovite on Feldspar Locality: Erongo Mountains, Karibib Constituency, Erongo Region, Namibia Measurements: 5.5cm x 4.7cm x 4.1cm Weight: 74g Stacked purple-green fluorite crystals have grown along a creamy matrix of feldspar crystals coated with muscovite and hyalite opal. The largest of these fluorite crystals is at the very middle/top of the piece, providing an excellent focal point. Unlike a lot of similar specimens, the crystal faces are not buried in the matrix. I really love the zig-zag aesthetic of this piece, it's cleaner than a lot of other specimens I've seen from this locality. There is also an old collection number on the back. ID: 439.04
