THE LINCOLN ASSASSINATION FLAGS These are framed historic Flag reproductions of the Civil War era Flags of the Treasury Guard Regiment, known today only as the Abraham Lincoln Assassination Flags. These are the flags that decorated the Presidential booth at Ford's Theater when Assassin John Wilkes Booth shot and killed our beloved President. The Flags are made of cotton muslin fabric and the wood frame is 10" x 12" in size. First is the 35 star National Colors of the Treasury Guard Regiment. It is believed that Abraham Lincoln held this flag in his hands as he lay on the floor after being shoot, other beleive this flag was used as a pillow for Lincoln while awaitnig help. Second is the 34 star Regimental Colors of the Treasury Guard regiment. It is a known fact that Assassin John Wilkes Booth caught his spur in this flag when he jumped to the stage causing him to break or sprain his ankle. This set can not be found anywhere else .
