Replacement 2" Inline Zinc Anode 104-D with Coopper Wire for Saltwater Pool, 104D Pool Zinc Anode, Sacrificial Anode to Protect Metal Parts 【Wide Application】 This Zinc Anode widely fits for most swimming pool systems, especially in a salt water system where higher levels of corrosion are found. Compatible with 2" pipes. 【Anti-Electrolysis Sacrificial Anode】 This zinc anode neutralizes the salt in pools with salt systems to prevent corrosion, making pool maintenance more easily. It stops metal erosion and plaster discoloration due to galvanic corrosion, prolonging the lifespan of various pool metal equipment like pool pump, heater elements, salt chlorinator, rails, lighting frames, etc. 【Easy Installation】 No need to change the plumbing. You can install it between the filter and heater, or between the pool pump and filter. It is recommended to install downward or horizontally. After installation, attach the copper wire to the pool equipment copper bonding wire using the bronze split bolt. Turn the pump on and bleed the air out using the bleeder valve on top of the cap. 【Package】 This kit comes with zinc rod and connecting wire. NOTE: Regularly use sandpaper to remove the dirt and rust layer of the zinc rod about every six months. The anode should be replaced when it is half its original size (approximately takes 3 years).
