This is a really pretty necklace, and it looks great on Miss Suzy, who is a "Fall" as well as a fall risk. But she doesn't wear necklaces anymore and is too lazy to deal with the sterling barrel bead, which does tarnish and is hard to detail with a Sunshine cloth. Anyone serious about jewelry will know a better way. I would just prefer it gets worn instead of just hanging there looking at me reproachfully! The three-inch chain with another stone dangling from the end (guaranteed to be sexy on the back of your neck!) allows a nice amount of adjustability, so you can make this piece look perfect with many different necklines... or no neckline, it's all up to you. I really like the pearl beads. I thought they were freshwater pearls but my jewelry dealer relative said mother-of-pearl on the note she gave me with this necklace back in the 90's, you be the judge. I am not an expert by any means. I will always ship the same or the next day. Exceptions are, of course, Sundays, postal holidays, and severe weather. Miss Suzy is a great snow driver, but once in a while they tell us to please stay off the roads if possible.)
