1961 Omega Seamaster Automatic 14704 Crosshair Dial Cal.552 Vintage Watch Please read before buying: This watch winds & runs however is running fast. When tested over 24 hours it gained just over 1 minute. Timekeeping seems to vary massively depending with what angle the watch is on the Timegrapher. It’ll be fine for special occasions etc however if you’re planning to wear it daily we’d potentially recommend getting it serviced. About the watch & condition: Here we have a beautiful vintage Omega Seamaster dated 1961. It has a spectacular crosshair dial and has been kept in fantastic condition a shown. The watch is powered by a calibre 552 automatic movement which as mentioned looks quite dirty and will benefit from a service due to running fast. More details below: This watch has a gorgeous Crosshair dial which has been kept in fantastic condition. There is some slight wear around the edges & just in between the “Swiss Made” however overall it looks superb. The crystal is the original Omega branded one & is in great shape as shown. It’s lovely & clean with only the slightest of light scratches. The dials housed in a superb looking stainless steel case with nice lugs. It’s been kept in excellent condition with only some minor light scratches which are to be expected with any pre owned vintage watch. The watch has its original push/pull Omega crown which winds & works fine. It’s sat on a standard brown leather strap which is a great size and suits it nicely. This isn’t the original but looks great and is practically brand new! You may want to replace this for a slightly higher quality leather This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is for the watch, no box or paperwork. This is quite common for older vintage watches. Very fast postage for this watch. It arrived next day and packed perfectly. The watch is as described. It looks in incredible with the dial patina. Worn for 2 days now and runs like a dream. Has a very nice comfortable strap too. Very good value and I'm so pleased with it. Highly recommend this seller and I will definitely use them again.
