This 18th century antique two drawer over three drawer chest, hand made by craftsmen from the period. Circa 1780. The chippendale style chest of drawers features a classic design with a mahogany straight veneered front and thumbnail mounding, Pine sides and top, consistent with the construction practice of the time. Deep patina disguises the pine wood. With a height of 40-1/2 inches, Deep drawers of 19 inches, and width of 37 inches, this chest is both stylish and functional, perfect for adding a touch of history and elegance to any room. I have original receipt from purchase in 1981. I'm advised that the drawer pulls and possibly the bracket feet have been replaces at some period.
