This is a very INTERESTING printed page of the results of the Port of Hull Society's Sailors' Orphan Home and Schools' Election from January 27th 1882. It has a list of the successful and unsuccessful candidates. The 12 girls and 24 boys are named and also tells you where they are from. As too are the unsuccessful named. I wonder how many of these survive. A very interesting item if you happen to be researching anyone on the list or not on the list as the case may be. !? Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself. Condition report: Normal signs of age and use wear, mostly on the edges and corners. It has been folded and creased. The Boys' clothing list has been underlined in ink. There are some areas of discolouration. It measures approx. 10 inches x 8 and 1/8 inches. Items sent under this system are fully insured the shipping price also includes any customs duties. I do NOT have any control over the shipping or customs prices as eBay themselves set these prices. Combined postage for multiple items: AUCTION ITEMS "Usually when items are shipped through our Global Shipping Program it is not possible to combine separate orders as each transaction is given a unique reference code which is needed by our shipping centre to process orders. EBAY SHOP ITEMS However, it may be possible to get an automatic shipping di scou nt with the Global Shipping Programme by adding all your items to the eBay shopping basket and then purchasing. The eBay shopping cart automatically estimates any discounts for you, combining items where possible. However only these item must be in the cart at this time and will have to be added in and purchased within a certain timeframe. If you have any other items in your basket the system will be unable to combine the order." If this automated system does not apply the postage discount for you, please send me an eBay message and I will do my best to try and combine the shipping costs for you. To see ALL my other 7000+ items for sale, please click on VISIT SHOP or see other items . Strangely, both options seem to only give a limited view of what I have to offer, so to see everything I have available, click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml). If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years. Track Page Views With Auctiva's Counter
