We can see His leading in every aspect of our lives. We realize even more how the love of Jesus is so wonderful, so awesome, so incomprehensible, and yet it's so very sweet and personal. That is why we titled the album "Sweet, Sweet Love of Jesus," The words of the song will express to you our feelings of how Jesus and His love mean more to us than anything and everything. The saving grace of Jesus is the message that shall set you free. Because of what this wonderful message of salvation has done for us, we have dedicated our lives to give this message to others. We wish we could talk to you personally. Maybe someday the Lord will lead us together for that privilege. We could spend hours with you telling of the blessings Jesus has given us, but for now we have chosen to give you our message in song, praying that through repeated listenings the Holy Spirit will reveal to you the simplicity of the gospel story. Jesus says "I want you," yet we give Him everything but ourselves. We offer Him money, time, family, when really "All He Wants Is You." If you have this problem of clinging to "self," listen closely to "There's Room at the Cross." Make "Have Thine Own Way, Lord" a song of submission, giving yourself completely and unreservedly to Jesus. Listen to the tender pleadings of Jesus in the other songs; and when you learn the wonderful blessing of giving up, or submission, "You're Walking Down Sunshine Lane" and "If It Keeps Gettin' Better" will then mean much more to you. There is a complete happiness and an abiding peace when Jesus takes over. I want to say a word about our Christian brother, Jeff Wood. We've known Jeff for a long time. We've grown in Jesus together; and as we have grown, so have Jeff's songs. They have become more profound and filled with the messages of salvation. The Lord has also blessed Jeff with the knowledge of arranging and conducting an orchestra in such a way so as to give the glory to God. We give you our deepest thanks, Jeff, for helping us praise God in song. We hold as our dearest joy the salvation Jesus has given us through faith in Him. We hold as our dearest hope the fact that Jesus is coming soon to take us home. Our prayer is that through these songs you will be able to share our joy and hope. When Jesus comes, we will meet with you in heaven where together we will experience in person that wonderful, abiding "Sweet, Sweet Love of Jesus."
